Hi everyone,
The Adoption Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join I will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! The complete listing of partners can be found under Prayer Partners. I usually post on Wednesdays. If you have any concerns, special prayer requests, or need to reach me outside of the bump please email me at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com

Praise:
Sarai0316: Their fingerprints: CLEARED! Final walk through: PASSED! Now we are just waiting for our CPR/First Aid class on Jan. 14th and then we'll be a certified foster/adoption family and hopefully quickly matched w/ our baby girl!!!
Sugardumpling: She should be able to move back home by mid February.
Special Prayer Requests: Please let me know if you have any prayer requests.
My prayer request: Please pray that my DH and I will finish all of our paperwork by the end of January so we can start our home study.
Bhead81: Her BM is due 1/15 and so far has been progressing well. Her last appt was on Monday and she was at 2cm and has some irregular contractions. Her dr doesn't think the baby will come within the next week but the BM thinks otherwise as with her other babies she did not drop or dilate at all prior to labor and with this one she has so who knows. Please pray that she holds out until at least past Christmas.
Graciesue: She and DH are about 80% done with our dossier and are just going to be starting our interviews with the home study agency as soon as our recommendations come in. They are looking forward to officially being in the wait stage. Please pray that they will be in the waiting stage soon.
Reflection for the day: 1 Corinthians 13:13: There are three things that last for ever: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of the three is love.
Question of the day: Did you receive the Christmas gift that you really wanted to get? I did get my marigold set of Fiesta dishes :0
Group updates:
-If you have any upcoming events (appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) be sure to let me know so I can post them in the events section!!

Re: Adoption Prayer Group
Thanks for the updates!!! Nothing really new here, we did recieve a letter in the mail yesterday telling us when the adoption class is - Feb. 4th. I am SOO excited. That is when we turn in the application paperwork and take the "how to be a parent" class.
The Christmas gift I recieved that I really loved, DH got me a gift card to my fav. clothing store and I went on a splurge! It was a lot of fun and I got a great deal on a jacket - normally 100.00 but I only spent 30.00! I love sales!!!
Thanks for doing this! Our update is that we were presented to a potential BM, but the facilitator is not sure that she will be choosing an adoption plan. I (only by instinct) do not believe that this is our match. Our baby will find us when the time is right.
My Christmas present was my new iPhone. Oh how I love Siri!!!!
Happy. Thursday to all.
I got an IPAD 2 which is what I really wanted. It was a total surprise from my husband.
Hi everyone! Amber, goodluck with you class coming up- I am so happy and excited for you!
I love the Corinthians verse- Love is DEFINITELY strongest. I felt this a LOT as we were going through IF treatments and then moving on to adoption...I thought constantly about how strong my DH must be to love me so much through all of this, and all my craziness (some med induced, some not!!). I often think of how very strong our marriage is because of what we have been through. We are not perfect, or better than anyone else, but we are ROCK SOLID!
Christmas was wonderful. My DH gave me a necklace with our daughters birthstone in it. I plan to pass it on to her when the time seems apprpriate, of course : )
This week we also contacted the social worker about beginning the process of another adoption. We are doing it so soon because we KNOW how long it may take, and want to just get the ball rolling again! So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we begin this journey again.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week-end!
Brenda! Congrats on the birth of your baby!!!
Kellz - Thanks for your well wishes! I am super excited!!! GL with your second adoption!!!! Many T&P's for you hun!
We would ask for prayers this week. We meet an EM next week who has chosen us out of the matchbook. She is due with a baby boy on Feb 7th, so this has the potential to be a very quick match. Please pray for BM as this has been a very difficult journey for her.
My favorite Christmas present was the iPad 2 that my parents got us. We draw names and so it was out of the blue and unexpected because they didn't have us!!!
