What temp is too cold for outside?

My friend wants to walk this afternoon with the kids. It is 45 degrees out with a windchill of about 40. Its nice and sunny though. We usually walk for about 45 min to an hour. Is it too cold for that for my 1 year old? Sorry if this is a stupid question - we just moved from a much warmer climate - still getting used to colder weather

Less than 20 is too cold.  Just bundle DC up....

For us, anything below 30ish degrees is usually too cold. Of course, it also depends on how windy it is...

Too cold is when I'm bundled up and still cold.  40-45 sounds absolutely fine, especially when the sun should still be up.

I think less than 15 deg is too cold.  If I thought 40 was too cold, we would only be able to go outside about 3 or 4 months of the year! )  We obviously live in a very cold climate!

 If I were you, I'd put them in a hat, gloves, and a warm coat and head out.  If you don't have all that gear yet, stay inside.

It would really depend on how windy it was. If it was calm and sunny, I'd be fine with as low as 25, but if its windy, 30/35 ish would be my limit.

No, it's fine.  Coat, hat, warm socks.  Perfectly fine for an hour.  15-20 or less, then I'd say limit it to 15minutes or so.

here in MN, we're happy when it is 40!  I think you'll be fine - just bundle DC up!
