My friend wants to walk this afternoon with the kids. It is 45 degrees out with a windchill of about 40. Its nice and sunny though. We usually walk for about 45 min to an hour. Is it too cold for that for my 1 year old? Sorry if this is a stupid question - we just moved from a much warmer climate - still getting used to colder weather
Re: What temp is too cold for outside?
Less than 20 is too cold. Just bundle DC up....
For me anything less than 20 is too cold for us!

I think less than 15 deg is too cold. If I thought 40 was too cold, we would only be able to go outside about 3 or 4 months of the year!
) We obviously live in a very cold climate!
If I were you, I'd put them in a hat, gloves, and a warm coat and head out. If you don't have all that gear yet, stay inside.

45? LOL
No, it's fine. Coat, hat, warm socks. Perfectly fine for an hour. 15-20 or less, then I'd say limit it to 15minutes or so.
