TP Checkers

When I was TTC, it was quite common to check the TP to look for fertile CM. Then, once I got my BFP, it was a constant check for spotting. Now I conserve all of that energy to make sure I don't fall of the pot while wiping.

Those of you checked your TP before, are you still doing it?

I think I just do it out of habit now, but yes, it still happens!

No I'm not checking. I'll start up again after Clara is born since we use that as NFP and no form of birth control.

I think I did it pre ttc out of curiosity.  Gross yes, but I still do it.

I'm paranoid of a loss still, so I check every single time... even at 3am.

I do it, I think it's just a habit now because of my loss and because I have OCD.  It just kind of became a compulsion.  It doesn't really bother me that I do it.

Wow, I feel so much better about this. I've been fighting the urge to check every single time, because I thought I was being ridiculous. I'm glad to see that so many of you are still actively doing it!

I never thought about it until you posted this...but I don't check it NEARLY as much as I did with DD1. I guess because I had her right after a miscarriage and I was paranoid...but this little bean moves around so much that I don't give much thought to things not being ok.

I think I've always checked my TP, just to be sure nothing funky is going on. I also check all my BM when I get up from the toilet, for the same reasons. I don't smell, taste, touch, or bring it right to my face; but I take a quick glance to make sure there is nothing alarming.

I always check my TP. I had two SCHs so I was always checking for bleeding and now I have a low lying placenta, and although I know that's common, it's made me paranoid all over again! Not to mention the fear of PTL.
