Home decorating peeps.....

Tell me what you think.....

This is our new dining set: 

 Raleigh Dining Collection, 7-Piece Set

 We are pretty informal/modern-type people, but we wanted a bit more of a formal feel (it is black with a dk/cherry wood top, light canvas seats). 

So, after a lot of thinking...I think we're going way out of our 'box' and doing a green paint:

And, we don't room for a formal hutch, so I'm thinking of doing some bookshelves like this on either side of a double window (in black).

Now, the modern side of me loves the light/chandelier on the left (white/plastic), H loves the one on the right (black, would have little shades on the lights, most likely):

So what does the next think?  And which light do you think? 

This room opens up to the Living room (I think....I confuse the LR/FR....lol...the one we do not use frequently)....I think we will paint that room a light-med shade of gray,  with green accents.
