I was not adequately warned about this solids poop!!!

I knew it would be gross, but holy crap the STINK!!! We were glad she finally went (and her new grunting sound to let us know she's going is hysterical) but wow-- DH called me panicking, and I smelled that lovely scent as soon as I walked in her room.

ya, they're so much worse than the yellow, seedy BM poops! They're big, smelly, and thick!

Ha! I hate the solids poo to. I was just telling DH today after I put our diapers in the wash that I miss having a baby that only pooped once a week.

OMG, sweet potatoes were the WORST poop for us.  I thought I was going to vomit right there changing DS's diaper. Haha.  The rest haven't been *too* foul yet.

Maybe I am not sensitive to bad smells or something, but I don't think DS's poops smell that bad. Sometimes I can't even smell them unless I smell right by his booty to check to see if he has gone.

Yep, I'm the mom that thinks her son's sh!t doesn't stink. Hahahaha!

DS's farts can even clear a room.  I have never smelled a baby's farts that were so foul - and my sister, mom and friends with kids have said the same.  I have no idea what is up with him!  Lol.

Haha, DS has pretty bad farts also...and they LINGER.  I swear, the room still smells 5 minutes later.  As far as poop goes, I've been pretty surprised to see the contents of his diapers resembling actual "human" poop ever since introducing peas.  Nasty.

haha!  i was just thinking today, that while they definitely smell worse than they did when he was ebf, they are not even comparable to the stink of a 2yr old's poop.  ugh.  sorry to say, but it gets worse...

The same for us! I am sure it will change depending on what he eats but so far they aren't bad. We have fed him peas, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, bananas, and avacado. I think his EBF poos were worse and at least now he doesn't explode every time.

I may be jinxing us, but our baby's doesn't stink either!  She has all kinds of foods in there in a variety of colors, but so far no thick or stinky dipes.

DS's diapers smell awful. We have cut back on the solids since he's teething but we're starting them up again. DH called me into the room today to show me a thick diaper. Ugh. I am glad we aren't pg right now, because those smelly diapers would have me puking everywhere!

I'll admit, the smell is pretty rank. But Myles has never had "normal" poops until starting solids. It's something we've struggled with since day 1 with him. I was actually ecstatic over his first solids poop, lol. For once it wasn't completely liquid and shooting out the back of his diaper. Now I have to hold my breath, but it's so much easier to manage now.

yeah.......somehow DH has avoided all the bad ones. He got a look/smell at one yesterday and told me he don't know what he would do with that. Ummmm.....I leave DD with him. lol

LOL, just wait until you introduce meat...they get worse, and then when you intro cow milk it gets worse!  Pray for early toileting! hee hee oh the joys of parenthood!

I work in a microbiology lab, so I'm pretty immune to stink. I also get the pleasure of dealing with poo at work(patients) and home(baby). Yay, me. Haha.
