How was your NYE/NYD (New Year's Day)?

My NYE was fine. DH and I watched the Big Bang Theory marathon and I fell asleep on the couch. My stupid neighbors decided they were going to have a blowout, massive fight and woke me up right before midnight. We tried to turn up the volume on the TV and it seemed like they were getting louder. I wish they were having sex instead; it would've been more entertaining to listen to, lol.

My NYD is pretty chill. We're watching a lot of movies and just enjoying each other. We live near Pasadena so there's a lot of people preparing for and going to the Rose Bowl and festivities tomorrow. We're just staying home and watching it, despite living only five miles away from everything, lol.

My NYE wasn't the best... went to my parent's house where we had some friends of all my siblings over.  My sister had her baby there as did one of my best friends, we were all pregnant together, Peyton should only be about 2 months younger than them.  My SIL who's pregnant was there too.  Given that whole situation I guess it was as ok as it could have been.

Today was fine, just me relaxing around the house, DH just got back from golfing.

NYE wasn't as good as I hoped. We went to a party that one of dh's friends threw, suppose to be adults only. A couple brought their 6 month old who cried half the evening. This woman joked how she should pass around the baby like playing hot potato and had to listen to all the other women at the party giving her advice on how to get the baby to sleep all night. The baby is formula fed, so it's not like she had to bring her because she is breastfeeding, if she wasn't comfortable leaving her for the evening they shouldn't have come to a party that the invite clearly said adults only.

NYE made me a little sad - we went to hang out with friends and every other couple there had kids (including hosts) so we got to spend it watching kids run around and thinking about what we don't have.

Today we've just been resting.  Apparently I'm a light-weight because I've felt sick all day and I only had 2 glasses of champagne last night.  Bleh.  We're going to an NBA game tonight.

NYE was unevenful, our best friends' came over, they are actually the people that introduced us.  We played Harry Potter Clue and watched the countdown.

Today, DH worked until 1 and then we watched the Panthers (DH's Team) get beat by the Saints.  Fun fun all around.  Other than that I have watched movies and football all day.  Hope everyone had a good day.

NYE was uneventful. We stayed home. No one expected us to go out and we were fine with staying in. We DVRed the Ball drop so we didn't even stay up. We watched in the morning.

NYD: SInce this is our first cycle TTC. I will be ovulating soon so we praticed the BD (TMI i'm sure)  and we also went to see a movie. The new Mission impossible. It was ok. The rest of the day and evening has been spent watching football.

NYE was awful.  We decided to stay at home but once we put our kids down to sleep things just digressed quickly.  We had a huge blowout (nope I'm not foxxys neighbor, lol), and didn't even wish each other a happy NYE.  Thank God we don't fight long and this afternoon we pretty much made up.  So today was much more uneventful and I am hoping tomorrow will be a good day.  We both have off and we will be going to have a family dinner because my sister is going back to Hawaii Tuesday morning. :-(

I was ready for bed at 9:30 last night, but my neighbors were outside being loud.  I waited til almost 10:30 and shed a lot of tears (all I wanted was my bed!) before I turned on a humidifier and the tv in my bedroom to block out some the people noise.  I was asleep before 11:00 and was woken up at midnight from fireworks and and more noise, but I fell asleep quickly after that.  Today, I took down all our Christmas decorations and cleaned a little.  Super lame, but exactly what I wanted.

Mine was good and bad. We stayed home and had some close family over. Part of the night was fun and I was pretending to be ok. The truth is that I was miserable inside. I wanted to get under the covers and be alone. Today, I kept busy taking down Christmas decorations. I am having a rough time though. I keep hearing "happy new year" everywhere (tv, texts, Facebook) but there is nothing happy about it for me.

Mine was boring,but I'm glad it was.I had to work NYE and NYD.NYE I worked until 6:30,so my DH brought me to Denny's for dinner(breakfast!)when I got home.Then we looked at silly websites(damn you auto correct,etc) for a little while and watched a disney movie.Yesterday I had a short day.I worked until 3:30 and then we went to my grandma's for dinner and to do laundry.
