Cloth Diapering

FuzziBunz

Hi Everyone, I am just 5 weeks and 3 days along but I always intented to cloth diaper.  I seem to be most drawn to Fuzzibunz all in one and was wondering if anyone here uses them, recommends them, hates them etc.?

  • Hi and welcome! Check out the FAQ at the top of the board, it includes a link to the diaper review spreadsheet. It's hard to know what will work for your LO the best until they arrive. CDs are a little like jeans: some are ok, some make you stop traffic, and some make you want to cry and never leave the dressing room. It all depends on your LO. We don't recommend buying all of one brand to start.

  • I don't like FuzziBunz. After they are washed you have to "stuff" the liner back into the diaper. It may be different with the "one size", but we are still in NB size it is hard to fit my hand (which is pretty small) in the pouch to stuff it and the material in the pouch is "sticky" so the inserts don't slide in easily.

We bought a variety of different brands and our favorite ended up being Kissaluvs AIO's for DD. We ordered 10 more of them when she was 4 days old and we only use the others in our stash when all the kissaluvs are dirty.

  • Are yours the older ones or the elites?  I just got some elites and found them really easy to stuff on the smallest setting compared to getting the BG 4.0 to lay in there well.  Plus the BG seemed so wide in the crotch compared to the FB.  I'm just playing with them on dolls though so they probably fit real babies better.

Ummmm... This is true of all pocket diapers. We only have the FB elites and like them so far. They are trimmer than some of the other pockets, but this is why we like them. There are many different styles of diapers, this is why I recommend trying more than one kind and style to start.

  • FuzziBunz was my first go-to diaper. I have decided I really prefer a velco (hook and loop) closure, and I love the Bummis Easy Fit Tot Bots and Bumkins AIO or pockets the best. I still use FB for my nightime diaper with the original microfiber insert as well as a hemp insert. The size mediums work best for this function as the OS are a bit narrow.
