totally off base...but..was your LO on nutramigen? Our pedi has suggested us switching to it(from similac soy) due to major constipation issues. Did your LO tolerate the taste OK? What is he on it for? TIA
I have a really bad milk protein allergy, so when LO broke out in hives from normal similac, the pedi recommended soy, but to have nutramigen in the house in case he broke out in hives from that. Thankfully LO has been ok on the soy so far, but we already had some reserves just in case. I have heard nutrmigen is a hard adjustment, so I am thankful he didn't have to go on it.
When I was a newborn, I was allergic to everything, and prior to all these fancy new hypoallergenic formulas I was put on "beef liver" based milk. My mom said there was nothing like boiling up a bottle of that in the middle of the night, ICK!
