natural, safe teething remedies?

We think DS is teething and of course DH wants to reach for tylenol and baby orajel (I know this is not recommended).  I prefer not to give medicines if not necessary but also do not want DS in pain, so does anyone have any natural remedies they have used for teething pain that work?

I've used these and they are wonderful! Baby takes them easily and they take the edge off and let them rest calmly. Can find them in the drugstores (Walgreens, etc.)

Do you have a Sophie Giraffe?  It's amazing.  Some days are worse than others, but for most days, he chews on this thing and it helps.

I love Boiron's Camilia. It's a homeopathic remedy.

We use the Hyland's teething gel (it is homeopathic like the tablets) because the tablets contain lactose and DS is allergic, and the gel works great! I've heard lots of good things about the tablets, wish we could try them!
