If your baby had (or has) torticollis, when did they start crawling. DD2 still isn't crawling at 13 months...although she seems like she will soon.
Does your LO just have tort?
Peyton had significant tort and crawled around 8 months, which with her other given issues was fairly early.
Morgan just started crawling at 10 months and we aren't sure whats going on with her, either.
Regardless, has your LO been in PT for the tort? We were told that tort is either positional (from being cramped in-utero) or neurological (caused by something else in the brain, etc..)
We did fairly aggressive PT with Peyton (once or twice a week) from just before she was 2 months and then continuing but I don't personally feel like the tort itself is an excuse (or reason) for a delay in crawling.
What is your pedi saying? How about other milestones?

DD2 still has some torticollis issues (with plagio, but not enough for a helmet). She was going to PT for a couple of months after her diagnosis, and she did improve. Lately, she's been favoring again. Anyway, she has strabismus (eye focusing problem) and she's not bearing weight like she should or pulling up. I just took her to a new pediatrician because the last one sucked. She wants her to do EI, so I've called the agency. If she doesn't show improvement from them, we have to bring her to a geneticist. That's a whole other story in itself. Oh, and she's had a MRI from her neurologist and it came out clear.
Charlotte had tort and didn't learn to crawl until 11.5 months - but only when she was forced to in PT. Otherwise she would just scoot on her butt to get around.
She really hated bearing weight on her knees and would try to pull up with straight legs. The physical therapist got her used to being on her knees and thereafter pulled up very quickly and was walking at 12.5 months.
Both the physical therapist and the neurologist thought that the crawling was unrelated to the tort and was really just a preference. It sounds like you have enough other issues going on that I would call to see if you could get your DD into PT.
Good luck.

DD had tort and crawled at 10.5 months. DS didn't and crawled at 10 months. DD has a sensory issue that delayed her gross motor milestones that I think was more of the issue than the tort, but her PT dud say that the tort could come back (and hers did) when the learn a new skill (crawling, walking, etc). Dd didn't walk until 18m, and could not go up/down stairs until almost 3yo, but that was the vestibular issue, not the tort.
DS had tort (in PT from 2 months to 9.5 months, he also wore a helmet for brachy). He crawled days before he turned 9 months and walked 1 day before 15 months. Both within typical timeframes. His tilt returned a bit when he crawled and then when he walked, and sometimes even now I'll notice it a bit when he is sick.
He does have some gross motor delays now (almost 2.5) and he is not jumping or walking up/down stairs (he does better down, with help) and is in EI for speech delays too. But I don't think it's related to the tort. EI will probably add PT or OT for him at his 6 month review.
Nate had/has tort along with other neurological stuff that causes delays.(you can see the tort in siggy pic) He did crawl on hands and knees until about 15 months, but was doing a butt scoot thing at around 13 months. When he does crawl he is not in a typical head up position. He looks at the floor mostly.
His ophthalmologist thinks his tort is eye related and that he tilts his head to get a better focus. (He also had strabismus that we corrected with patching and some slight intermittant nystagmus)
PT thinks he is tight and needs stretching.
Orthopedist thinks he potentially has fused vertebrae but xray was not clear enough to show.
Everybody has an opinion! I guess that it is possible that the late hands and knees crawing could be due to vision issues. Maybe followup with your pediatric ophthalmologist?
DS2 (27mos) had undiagnosed torticollis (pedi refused to diagnose although myself and EI felt he had it). He has CP which has affected many things to include gross motor functions. He army crawled starting at 12mos and just started crawling at 25.5mos. I attribute the delay to the CP and not the torticollis. He also has strabismus and wears glasses.
DS did not crawl until he was 12 months. He was pulling to stand though from 9 months and cruising by 12 months. Yes, cruising was about the same time as crawling ... He took his first steps at 14.5 months and was a full time walker at 16 months.

Re: Torticollis & crawling
DS has other developmental delays, so he started crawling around 20 months.
