Nightmares/Odd dreams

I'm just over 9wks and I have had nightmares several times that all include some kind of animal trying to attack me so as a result I am trying to kill whatever is attacking. Im these dreams I am not pregnant for some reason. I've heard of people having dreams resulting from fears of their unborn child being sick or not having what they need, etc. However I have NO idea what this could mean. I'm not the type that deciphers dreams, but these seem very scary to me at the time. Does anyone else have something similar going on?

  • I've had bizarre dreams and I just chalk it up to hormones.

  • I been having all kinds of weird dreams since I got pregnant. Having odd dreams is just another fun part of pregnancy. Its believed to come from the hormone changes your body goes through.

  • I agree with above repliers. I usually have odd dreams, but pregnancy has really given me some interesting nights. Just last night I was running away from a bandit of killer children!  I have no clue... just chalk it up to hormones and try to think happier thoughts the next night. LOL.

  • I started to have the craziest dreams starting about week 5 up until week 11. I would wake up in the middle of the dream because I had to get up to go to the bathroom. They are completely normal!

  • Any ideas or tips on how to minimize these dreams?
