Surgery update

Hi ladies. Wanted to update you on my surgery. It went really well and they were able to do the bilateral mastectomy and place the expanders for reconstruction at the same time. They removed the 2 closest lymph nodes and checked them during surgery and they were CLEAR!! They still sent them off to pathology to be checked again. But so far so good. I haven't been able to see anything as I m still wrapped in an ace bandage. My plastic surgeon said she was able to fill the expanders with 200cc of saline so at least I have something there. I'll be in the hospital til Sat morning. Thank you so much for all the thoughts & prayers, they're definitely helping!!
7/09 miracle DD born
3/11 DX: lean PCOS/anovulatory
9/11 ovarian drilling to remove cysts + 5mg Femara = BFN
10/11 5 mg Femara again = BFP, ectopic pregnancy at 5w4d
11/11 diagnosed with breast cancer
12/11 bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction

    Blessed with 2 amazing little boys. One grew in my tummy and the other my heart.

    06/30/10 my 1st son was born on my birthday. 
    TTC #2 since 05/2011 BFP- Feb 2012, EDD- 11/01/12, m/c- 03/05/12 @ 5w+4d 
    12/20/13 my 2nd son was born and placed in my arms.
    Surprise BFP- Nov 2014, EDD- 8/06/215, mc 12/24/2015 @ 8w+6d
    SURPRISE - BFP- 4/8/2105

    Trying for #2 since July 2010
    BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10.
    BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
    BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
    Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
    BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
    Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!

    Luca Rose born 9/9/12! More than worth the wait!

    That is wonderful news!  When my sister had her mastectomy the first few days were the most painful...but she was out and about in less than 2 weeks!  Hang in there and I hope all goes well!

    Thank you for posting this!  I'm so happy that the surgery went well and it doesn't seem to have spread.  I'm still thinking of you and praying often.  Keep us posted!
