Where do you live, and how much is a gallon of gas where you are?

I'm in Des Moines, Iowa and I've seen $1.99!  Nothing like filling up for under $35.

Here, south of Richmond, on the lil' Army base where we live, we are paying $2.23.

Crazy to think that when we left California in June, we were paying nearly $5.00 for a gallon of gas!

Um, I just attempted a conversion, and if I did it right it equals $3.52/gallon! Whoa!

Okay, this is interesting. I just found a chart that also takes the value of the Canadian dollar into account, and it looks like it works out to $2.75/gallon. Not so bad after all.

Obviously I pay the same as you but I just saw the gas station outside my office window change it to $1.98! Holy moly.

When I got gas Sunday night I looked at the price and then looked to see if the pump had stopped before it was full. Then I realized it was just cheaper but it was way weird!

I've attempted a conversion and I think it's $1.69USD ./ litre here, which works out to about 6.76/gallon. It's gone down a lot recently, though. Today BP announced record profits for the most recent quarter, too.
