This may be a stupid question but are you allowed to visit people in the hospital while pregnant?
My cousin's wife said she was only allowed a 30min visit with her sister when she gave birth because they didn't want her hanging around the hospital. My grandmother is in the hospital right now and I want to visit her but I wanted to make sure it was safe before I go flying in there high-risk with twins. She is in a private room as far as I know.

It is flu season so there mine risks to u
Considering a majority of nurses are women who get pregnant from time to time, it is safe. There are a few different infections or conditions that pregant women should avoid, so just find out ahead of time. I worked at my hospital job throughout my pregnancy up until I was put on bed rest. Just use common sense and wash your hands well!
