What are you doing for New Years?

We are flying up to Washington state on Thursday to see my dad (biological) and we will be back on Sunday. It is going to be great to see him and spend the New Years with him.

Going to Padre with some close friends.  I was so beyond excited until I learned that my KU friend is going (I swear, if I hear her complain about how "terrible" her pregnancy is or say that she "guesses" she's excited to have a baby, I will punch her out).  I told DH she better hope I get a BFP Friday AM or I will most likely be a witch to her all weekend.  On the other hand, if I don't get a BFP, I'll likely be doing a lot of the above PIP!

We've rented a house with 16 of our friends for a week for NYE. I plan to drink a lot since I'm not pregnant and I'm super bitter about it. I will theoretically be O'ing so plan on lots of ninja sex (really amused by this term, just heard it on here recently!). We're hoping to get up there first so we can pick the room furthest away from everyone ;-)

2012 will have to be a better year, right?

Same here! We're definitely starting to FWP this week since O should be sometime this weekend.

We probably won't be going out since I don't want to leave the dogs. We'll probably end up having a couple friends over and that's about it.

My brother is home for the holidays (he works out of state/country) 10 months of the year.  So MH and I are going out with him and his girlfriend to a Japanese Steak House and then bowling!

We will be at DH's parent's house, along with his entire family.  And since I will be 2 weeks post D&C (and since I have not let DH lay a hand on me since our BFP in August) I think there will be some ninja sex in my future.  I think he has a count down on his phone -- LOL!

I think it will be just a quiet night at home for the two of us.  Tomorrow we're going out of town for a quick trip for our 1st anniversary so most likely NYE will just be hanging with the hubby, cats, and dogs.  Not a bad way to ring in the NY in my opinion.

Depending on the weather I might run in a 5k Resolution Run on the afternoon of the 31st.

We are doing what we planned to do when we thought Brandon was going to be with us. 

We are going to be with our vacation couple for a couple of days. We will play zombie board games, watch movies, hot tub it, and the only thing different will be me getting trashed.

We already picked 14 bottles of wine from our wine collection. I'm ready to kiss off 2011!!!!!

I will be in DC for New Years and away from my husband for the first time in nine years.  I am here visiting my sister and two nephews.  I'm not sure if we're going to do anything actually and I'm okay with that!  I will most certainly be having a cocktail or two. :]

We were supposed to go up to New York to spend the wknd with a friend and her husband. But because my nana and papa had the stomach flu for Christmas and didn't get to celebrate the holiday, we will be at my mom's house instead. So we will celebrate, eat lots of food, and drink. Which is ok because my nana is quite entertaining after a few glasses of wine lol.

NYE starts off our marathon week of FWP. I should be ovulating sometime that week so we plan to get the ball rolling on trying again. This will be our first cycle actually trying since our loss and we are really excited to get things going. Before our loss we were stuck in a rut of some really bad luck and then we lost our baby. Now, DH has a new job, I should be starting school and going back to work soon, and it seems as though our luck has turned around so we're hoping this will be our chance for our take home baby.

DH and I are going to Chicago to hang out with some of his fraternity brothers.  I "should" be O'ing this weekend, so we'll also be having some "ninja sex" if I can get him just drunk enough to not care.  lol!

Our anniversary is December 29, so we usually just celebrate that on New Year's, when people are out and it's fun to have a nice dinner, etc...  This year, though, we are just kind of bummed and are at his parents' house, so I am not sure we are going to do anything...which is fine, as I will still be plenty happy to see 2012. 2011 sucked.
