So during the whole period of Dillon's flu and diarrhea incident on Christmas Eve. I am holding him after his 23rd diaper change and MIL comes up to me (yes the same MIL who thought crab cakes was a good alternative to toast for the BRAT diet) and says "you know what I used to do for my boys when they weren't feeling good?" She really looked as if she were about to share some unknown wisdom.
I sat in anticipation of some herbal remedy from her homeland (she is from Portugal)
"A bath! Baths always made my boys better!"
Gee thanks! I have not bathed him in the 5 days he has been sick, so would have never thought of that as a cure! ![]()
It makes me laugh when I think of it now.

True story DavezWife - when we were in Ireland for my sister's bachelorette party she had an upset tummy and to the person everyone Irish recommended a touch of whiskey to cure the upset.

Where the phrase "Liquid Gold" originally came from, I tell ya. Good for hangovers, teething, colds, coughs, and a bad case of the uglies. lol.
