It's not going so well(Vent)

Apparently there is an issue with our credit we didn't know about. So, we can't find a place to live. Several places said they would work with us anyways, but then said no later. The last place we stayed with in WI for a year was great! They have nothing but nice things to say but unfortunately it doesn't count for much. Sigh...I wish we had known about this issue before we moved. I would have stayed in WI longer. Now we are wearing out our welcome at families' houses and contemplating giving up(we aren't annoying people, but DH's family are not dog people unfortunately). DH moved here almost 6 months before me and now it seems that he missed seeing DS for that long was for nothing.

 I just wish something would go right for once! Maybe moving to this awesome place isn't meant to be?

We are going to try to sign up for Section 8 tomorrow (maybe they know of some places that will let us stay there) 

I wish I cold say it will be a Merry Christmas, but I am feeling less then happy right now.

Don't be down! Searching for a home is always difficult . Enjoy the time you guys are spending together now and for atleast the day enjoy the holiday stress free my DD and I just flew down to Colorado to spend time with DH -job relocation is moving us out of WA and away from family. We are spending our holiday weekend in a hotel until we can move into our new place on Wed.- on top of that, it is my DHs birthday on Christmas too! Our DD first Christmas we should always be thankful ave happy for what we have (even if its not exactly what we planned) - good luck with house searching & happy holidays!!

That sucks.  Have you pulled your credit to see what's on there that's causing you to be denied?  I would want to know that if I thought my credit was good but I was being turned down for renting.  Can anyone co-sign for you guys?

Thank you everyone for the advice and support. We found out what the credit thing was and will pay for it asap. Unfortunately DH's job just dropped him so there is NO way we can afford a place to live  (esp with that credit thing!) so we are relocating to NM to live with family until we can move back here (more slowly this time)
