(I'm carrying twins, one is likely terminal at/near birth)
This is something that's crossed my mind as something to plan and do when my babies come, but I have a dear friend who's facing the same situation very soon, and needs some help. So I'm asking early.
She is looking for sensitive thoughtful "birth announcements" (do we have to call them death announcements? wtf?) to send out, announcing both her son's arrival, although recently deceased... with the other version for his sister. (which obviously doesn't need any help, hopefully she'll be ok) Both my friend and I would like to avoid religious reflections (to each their own) which is making the hunt really difficult. About the only one we can find is the "footprints on our heart" one seen everywhere.
thanks.
Re: Any "birth announcement" ideas for our situations?

'Baby's name' will forever be missed by mom, dad and twin sister
(I will keep looking for other quotes/poems)
A Little Bird and a Monkey Butt
There are also some options (some religious) towards the bottom of this page:

For my son, we used a picture of his feet. All the announcement said on the front was:

Forever Loved
And inside was the poem "We wanted a Baby" by Judy Smith. Maybe something like that is appropriate?
