It was regarding the Enfamil recall and BF'ing vs. FF'ing. I'm sorry to the bumpie (whose bump name I cannot recall due to me leaving the FB group and not having access to the lists) but I had to say something. I have learned through my trials and errors as a parent to not be smug about MY choices, and know they are just CHOICES. I hope it doesn't cause a sh!tstorm and if it does, I apologize.
Re: I was just rude in a bumpie's FB post...
No, no no. It went pretty much like this:
OP: Walmart is pulling Enfamil due to an infant fatality!
FBfriend1: oh noes!
FBfriend2: uh-oh!
FBfriendME: that's horrible!
FBfriend4: BF'ing is best.
FBfriend5: (liking post4) They can't recall MY boobs! LOLZ.
OP: I was just giving the information to all women, not all are able to BF exclusively, etc.
OP is super nice and wanting to get the word out but I'm sure the next thing from smugfriends would be something along the lines of "Eww, those poor saps giving their babies poison."
Me: Insert Verbal diarrhea...Don't assume everyone's story FBfriend4and5. This is why women can't get along: smugness.

Thank you. I normally don't say stuff like that but it really rubbed me the wrong way.

Here is OP's post to you:
Leneae "is a pit bull! You really went after them on my wall : ) left me speechless!!! Lol... (btw, they're typically nice girls, but apparently don't know how to think before typing... And obviously don't know their audience!"

That was very nice and un-smug of her.
The baby was the son of a friend of a friend. . All the local media coverage around here is linking it to the formula. But who knows. Its just really unfortunate.
Mommies really need to stop being so judgmental of one another. It's tiring. All the mommies at play group try to one up each other. I keep my mouth shut. But should they ask, I breastfeed because it works for ME. I cloth diaper because it works for MY family. I am a SAHM because MY circumstances allow me to be and I chose to. All of its right for ME. You go ahead and do what works for you. I'll be over not really caring what the hell you do as long as you are meeting your kid's needs.
Just an update per the news tonight:
Another child has been hospitalized due to the same bacteria found in the formula used by the child that died. They are still not linking it 100% to the formula, but I sense a recall in the next day or so....
