Hashimoto's Disease

Someone that I know IRL has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease. It may have been causes her miscarriages. She would love to hear from people who have experienced this and other other thyroid problems or blood clotting disorders. If you happen to have something along those lines, it would be awesome if you could reach out to her.

Just wanted to say that I was just diagnosed with this.  It must've started after Lucy was born and before I got pregnant again.  My OB caught it in the prenatal bloodwork.  Once you are put on hormone replacement (Synthroid) everything fertility-wise should be fine.  Hope she gets better soon.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease about 5 years ago.  I was put on Synthroid, and got pregnant on the first try.  I had a very healthy pregnancy, and the problems I had with the delivery had nothing to do with the thyroid disorder.
