Catholic Charities in Pittsburgh

We plan to start the adoption process in January, as our local Catholic charities, who we plan to use, only takes couples once a year in January.  Has anyone here ever worked with then in Pittsburgh and can give me an idea what their home study is like or their process?  We are excited to get started, but have no idea what to expect.  Thanks.

Not sure about Pittsburgh specifically, but we adopted through our local Catholic Charities and it was also a once a year admissions.  Our process started in January and lasted through June.  During that time, we had 4 classes to attend, took CPR, had 2 home visits and then three interviews at their office.  We also completed our written and photo profiles, they conducted their background checks, etc. and we had to have five references.  We also had several boos to read, autobiographies to submit and had to write a "Dear Birthmother" letter.  From the time we started the program to the time of our placement was a total of 18 months.  We had a wonderful experience with Catholic Charities.
