Are your kids on break already?

I teach and our break (in the county in which I teach) is from Dec 19-Jan 3rd.  Mykids, who go to school in a different county, are off from Dec 23-Jan 9th.  It's really messing with my schedule here!  Anyone else in the same boat?

We are off.  DD and DS1 had a half day on 12/16 and go back on 1/2 which is also a half day

Last day of kindergarten is Wednesday.  Last day of daycare is Friday.

I am very much looking forward to the break!!

Yup.  A friend of mine lives a few miles away but is in a different school district.  Her kids were done Friday as were my younger two whose preschool follows a different school district as well.  I think we're the only one around here who are still in session.  DD#1 has school today, tomorrow and a half-day on Wednesday.  Then they go back on the 2nd, but DH gets the 2nd as a holiday from work because they're guaranteed a certain number of paid holidays so DD#1 goes back before DH.  Everyone is back on the 3rd and I know I'll be happy to have my house empty again, at least part of the time.

Tomorrow's our last day. DD is in the toddler class at the school I work at, and their last day was last week.

DS's last day is Thursday. He doesn't go back until the 4th.

Our public schools here go through a full day Friday, then off through the 3rd.

My kids are like you....N's preschool (private) is out today - Jan 2, B's school (public) is out the 23rd-Jan 9th.  It kinda stinks!

We have school through the 23rd and are only off until the 2nd. Around here that's standard and I've never had off longer for Christmas!

Ours are done at noon on the 23rd, and back on the 9th.

Wednesday is DD1's last day of school and she is off until Jan 3rd.

The boys last day is tomorrow, but then they don't go back till the 9th which kinda sucks.  After the New Year, I'm always so ready to get back into a routine, so that whole week of just hanging around (hubby back at work, cold weather, not dragging three kids out to do errands, etc) is not something I'm really looking forward to!  However this week and next week will be lots of fun

DD's last day was last Friday, and she's off until Jan. 9th. Three whole weeks! Kids get a long break here.

I wish his break was Dec 19-Jan 3rd, but its the 23-9th.  Because of this, I can't take the week between Christmas and New's Years off like I usually do because I have to take the following week off to stay home with DS.  DH is on break right now, and his breaks usually follow suit with the public schools.

Nope. My DD is in Kinder and goes right through Friday, full day.  She goes back January 3.

I'm a SAHM, though, so it doesn't impact my schedule.

My DD has school through the 23rd (full day) and then they go back on Jan 9th.  My sisters kids who go to a private school, are out - last day was the 16th and they go back on the 2nd.,   I know my niece who is in a different state got out on the 16th as well but she goes back on the 3rd.  It is just crazy how different it is.  Every district near me has a different break this winter.
