Assisted Hatching with FET

Today I read on a few different sites that assisted hatching is recommended if  "You are using frozen embryos (since the zona may be hardened as a result of cryopreservation)"

If you had an FET did you also have assisted hatching? When I had my WTF appointment and discussed moving on with our snowbabies this was not mentioned to me.  I guess just something else to add to my list of questions for our RE.

TIA

It's standard protocol for my clinic to do AH if it's a FET or if the woman is over 35.  RE told me that the outer shell of the egg becomes harder when frozen, or as a woman ages, and AH to helps promote implantation.  Their FET success rates are pretty darn close to their fresh cycle success rates.
