Pooping
My LO is 17 days old and is EBF. He has been peeing regularly and had been having at least 1 BM a day since birth. As of Thursday he has not had a BM at all. He is very gassy, we started him on gas drops on Thursday also after his 2-week Doc apt. He is still eating, sleeping and peeing ok. But I am worried that he needs to poop!
If he does not go by tomorrow which will be 4 days with no BM I am going to call the Doc but thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions on how to stimulate something or if this is normal?

Does he seem uncomfortable? This can be totally normal, and it's not a big deal unless he is bothered. You can try taking his temp rectally, but other than that, all you can do is wait it out.
You can talk to your doctor and hear what he or she suggests. Owen struggles with chronic constipation, but started when he was older so I can use other foods and juices. The doctor can recommend juice or suppositories if it becomes problematic.
