Anyone over shoot their Christmas budget?

Are you usually pretty good about staying on a budget at Christmas? Anyone over shoot their budget? 

I didn't over shoot necessarily, but we did have random other charges in the month of December that will make this month's bill cringe-worthy. Vet bill, a couple medical co-pays/deductibles with bad timing, etc. Looks like we'll be tightening the belt in January!  Which sucks for DH, since his birthday's in January.

    December is always a financial pit for us-- both kids' birthdays and Christmas plus our annual party.

    Yes, a little. This year we didn't have a lot of wiggle room. but I still spent quite a bit more than I said or thought I would.I actually haven't calculated what I spent, nor do I plan to I'm not on here often, but I've been thinking about you guys. Let me know how your dad is doing., dad has a scan on tuesday
