How did the babysitter/date night go last night? I'm curious, because we are thinking about hiring a non-family babysitter for the first time.

That's what's so hard, they can't tell me yet!!

I think it went pretty well, though.  I think it really helped that D was familiar with the sitter already - I thought he would be confused that she was in his house, but he acted familiar, which was awesome.  They both went to sleep within about 10 minutes of when they do for us, so that seems to be a success.  Although it sounds like D cried, which isn't normal and breaks my heart to think about (but I'm sure was to be expected).

I don't think she put his overnight diaper on very well, so he was wet when we got home and we had to change him - which woke him up, and we had to get him back to sleep.  But, again, that's an area in which he's a strange/ particular child , so I kind of expected that, too. 

Overall, I guess good????
