It's a bit early for me to be thinking about this, but I know once we tell people they're going to start asking, so I was wondering what everyone here did about registries, if they had any. What are the best places to put together a list of eco-friendly baby products? Obviously I know things like a car seat, etc... will probably have to be the standard stuff, but I'd love to at least *try* to get some furniture/products that are a bit more natural.

Balaustine: an anthology about wanting family
We are using www.babyearth.com.
There is a mix of ecofriendly and traditional items. We also like the fact that our money is going to an independent store and not a corporation.
My family is a Foreign Service family. Families like mine are posted in every corner of the globe. We live our lives away from family, friends and the conviences and comforts of home. We often live and work in dangerous places among those that misunderstand our intentions and purposes. Sometimes members of our ranks sacrifice our lives to further diplomacy. Please remember that we serve too. And I'm always open to questions.
Thanks all!
To the point about Amazon, I was definitely going to do two different places; and hoping one could be a "real" store just because there are some older people on my husband's side who probably don't want to get things online. But it's great to see I have options. Jillian's Drawers looks like a great site! Will check out babyearth too.
