Needing advice asap

I am 31 weeks pregnant and started having mucusy discharge yesterday which is abnormal for me. I started experiencing pressure last night and this morning. When I went to the bathroom this morning a huge clump of mucus came out. Is this normal at 31 weeks or is it a problem.

    I'd say normal. But of course you can always call. For me I noticed a big increase around 28-32 wks, and it was always mucous like. And for me, now it's gone to a liquid base. Shouldn't be anything to worry about unless it's brown or bloody tinged.

    Sounds like you lost your mucous plug. Some women lose it a bit early and it regenerates. Others lose it and it's a sign that labor is coming soon. Since you're on the early side and also experiencing pressure, I'd call your OB and see what they say. They'll at least tell you what to watch for that would mean you need to be seen.

    It wasn't white... It was kinda green brown... I just don't know what to think. I've had contractions since 28 weeks that weren't doing anything so they were passed off and now I'm very worried.... I'm waiting for my Doctor's office to open to call....

    It sounds like you lost your mucus plug... but I've never heard of it being greenish brown. Definitely keep us updated. (HUGS!)

    sometimes it can be a uti if it's greenish. It's good to consult your doc just to be on the safe side. Don't worry though :)

    Normal... I doubt you lost the mucus plug, but if you did it will grow back.. When pregnant you will have mucus type discharge, which keeps you from getting any type of bacterial infections down there.. It is supposed to happen. especially as you get closer to having baby!!

     I agree with 'shotzie'. My ob's office would want me to call in.
