We took DS to see one a few months ago (after being on the waiting list for 5 months!). We thought one of his eyes was turning inward a bit, and thought it might be due to his sever torticollis & resulting facial asymmetry. We initially talked to the pedi about it, and he really seemed to think it was pseudostrabismus. Not sure if you've read about that, but it was basically because of how small his nasal bridge was, and how the skin was pulling down towards the corner of his eye, making it appear that it was turning inward. We decided to take him to the pedi optho, just for peace of mind. They did a ton of tests & full work up, dilated his eyes, etc. Turns out he was fine, and what may have been pseudo, was already resolved. I hope it turns out to be something similar for Reese. But, you'll be glad you took her in, regardless. Like PP's said, if it does turn out to be something, it is SO much easier to correct at such a young age. GL

I think you're gonna be amazed at just how much they can do and learn when eye testing kids so young.
I found the whole process kinda interesting!
