 Sorry it's late! Been super busy with the holidays! Since I'm getting closer to my due date, would anyone be interested in taking over? (just in case it's too hard to see with all the other text!)

 Ellie is doing good so far! I think she's dropped and she is definitely making her headbutts known to my bladder and pubic bone! I'm up every 1.5-2hrs just going to the bathroom! Sucky!

OB appt today - nothing too exciting.  Baby's heartbeat was 170.

We had our a/s last Thursday, and we confirmed that we are having a girl!!! Until now, it was only 80%. Yay!! 

Everything looked great!! The only 'problem' was at the end when the tech went back to look at her face closer and then do the 4D, Lilyanne had folded her body in half and tucked her chin to her chest so we couldn't get a good face shot. Silly little girl!! The tech had seen everything she needed except her lips, so we have to go back on Jan. 5th to look again. Oh darn. :P

She weighed 15 oz. We measured one day ahead, but she didn't change our due date (I wouldn't anyway- DH and I were both big babies).

My 16 week appt was yesterday.  I have officially lost 17 pounds.  Baby's heart rate was 148.  And my big u/s is scheduled for Jan. 12!  We wanted to be Team Green but I'm lately very anxious over whether or not this is a boy or a girl and have pretty much decided to find out if baby cooperates.  I also found our that I need to sign up for a weekend birth class that's $250... yay... Then there's ANOTHER class I have to take in 3rd tri.... not sure how much that one will cost.

Forgot to check in last week...oops!  Had my midwife appt and everything is looking good.  HR is in the 140's this week.  Had to have an u/s this week to check cervical length (DD was premature), which indicated some shortening   We have the a/s on Tuesday and will have a repeat cervical length check as well.  Praying it doesn't get any shorter or else I will likely have restrictions.  Can't wait to find out if we are team blue or team pink and to make sure LO is otherwise doing ok in there.  It is going to be a loooooonng weekend!

Hi folks! I'm new to the thread... and new-ish to the bump. Due July 27, 2012. Won't be finding out the gender. I *try* to live pretty eco-friendly and hope to continue when the baby arrives!  Want to cloth diaper and breastfeed (though my husband insists I'm being overly ambitious with the cloth diapering; we'll see)I'm 35 and this is my first. I just officially found the doula I want at my birth; planning to give birth in a hospital though ... personally I'd love a homebirth but I have some complications and may end up needing a c-section so the hospital it is. My first prenatal visit is next Tuesday morning; I can't wait!
