nbr - natural gout remedies

Just wondering if anyone knows some natural remedies for gout? My hubby is having a bout of it right now. It's quite painful, but since he's younger then then the usual gout patient, we really didn't have to have go on meds life long to prevent. I thought some dietary changes may help. I've googled a few, but just wondering if anyone has tried anything that worked (or didn't). TIA.

    Follow the dietary advice is my biggest piece of advice! My dad has horrible gout so everytime I go over there I hear him talking about it. Beer is one of the biggest no-nos. My dad drinks crazy amounts of cherry juice and he swears that it helps! Your poor hubby, hope he feels better soon! As im sure you know, gout is a never ending battle so try to stick to a diet that will help avoid gout flare-ups!
