Most of the girl names we love have a strong E sound. Our top name for our next girl if we have one is Phoebe. Our last name sounds like Harlee (including the "ee" at the end).
Do you think Phoebe Harlee is too much E? Most days I think yes, but my SIL's names are Julie and Kerrie, so they made it work...

I voted that the double E doesn't bother me, and it doesn't.
I think because it's got that hard R sound, in the last name that it breaks it up well enough.

I didn't even think of it as a triple E, but you're right. Is it too much to pray that my potential Phoebe marry someone named Smith?
I personally wouldn't do it. Just a preference of mine...
My DD's fn/mn has a lot of "e" sounds but our LN does not... but she'll mostly be referred to by her FN/LN combo
