If you bled during pg #1...

...is it likely to be the same way with a second pg?  Has anybody been through this?  I had a previa that corrected itself by about 18 weeks, but the doc didn't seem to think that was why I kept bleeding.  I guess I'm just a bleeder, in general, it seems:  very long, but light, AF, sometimes bleed after sex, etc. 

Sorry if this is a stupid question...I know, it probably depends on individual circumstances and even then, its probably on a case by case basis...

I'm just trying to get my head on straight in regards to spotting/bleeding and when I should count myself out on a cycle.

I had unexplained bleeding (bright red) off and off for the first 18 weeks during my pregnancy with Stella.  I didn't have a single bit of bleeding with Hadley.

It really depends on the reason I guess.  I had a SCH with Mark, had brown spotting for 4 days then a toilet filled with bright red blood, this happened around 7 weeks.

This time I had bright red bleeding followed by several days of spotting.  They never saw a SCH or found a reason for the bleeding.  They are unrelated in my mind and not that I have a tendency to bleed during pregnancy.

As far as bleeding/spotting before a BFP it's hard to say I guess. Good luck.

I bled with both pregnancies. The first was a clomid/ti pregnancy with twins. The bleeding started at 13 wks and I lost the babies at 16.5 weeks. With Asha it was a fresh ET and I started bleeding at 8 weeks. Both times I had SCHs that formed clots. The pattern of bleeding was similar - a big bleed followed by a week or two of spotting, lighter bleeding and small clots followed by a second large bleed with big clots (sorry - tmi). I'm pretty sure I will have bleeding with any future pregnancies. It was really awful but my experience is colored by losing the twins the first time around.
