HCG trigger & fertility friend

Hi ladies - for those who do a trigger shot - do you manually set your ovulation day on FF or wait for a temp rise?  I'm asking because my temps have been crazy high pre-O (b/c of the Clomid), so I don't know how accurate FF friend would be.  I know it really doesn't matter, but was just curious.  Oh, and I triggered Fri night.

As soon as I put my Hcg shot in... FF told me to pick the O date based on what the doctor said.  I was always able to see a shift still with clomid+trigger... everything was just a little higher from start to finish

I mark the day of my IUI for my O (day after trigger)

I input the trigger shot and IUI and then manually set the "O" date as my IUI.  But I too have an obvious shift on FF from temps (even with the clomid) so I'm sure FF would have given me CH anyway.  If you want, you can always wait to see your temps and manually override it later if you want to the day of your IUI.

Thanks ladies!  My RE said O would probably happen within the 40 hours after the trigger - but that covers two days so I wasn't sure.

I wait for something that looks like a shift. If FF doesn't pick it up (because of medication-induced temperature wonkiness), I use the override setting. On my first and second medicated cycles (Clomid), FF noted the shift without my help. On this past cycle (Femara), I had to enter my O date manually.
