Ways to reduce dryer static?

Now that we're into winter weather, my kid's clothes have so much static coming out of the dyer. I wash with 7th Gen detergant and vinegar. We don't use dryer sheets. Any suggestions?

    Wool dryer balls and pull the laundry out before its completely bone dry.

    Are you doing vinegar in the wash cycle or rinse cycle?  For static, the vinegar needs to be in the rinse I think.

    As PPs said.. vinegar in the rinse, dryer balls, and the biggest thing is not to over-dry!  I'm such a bad EFFer when it comes to forgetting my clothes in the dryer and needing to de-wrinkle them. :P

    Stick a safety pin on two different pieces of clothing before you dry it. I don't know why it works, but it does. I've also heard some people get the best results from using the safety pins as well as the vinegar thing.
    A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.
