What to give DS's home daycare person for Xmas?

What do you give your child's home daycare provider for Christmas?  One national board recommended a week's pay.

That seems awfully high considering that I don't spend that much on even DH for xmas.

Is that typical around the Columbus area?

How much (or what) do you give?

    A couple of the people in recent years have given toys/donated outside playsets to the home daycare, not the individual, it keeps them from spending their money.  Personally, I wouldn't do monetary.
