Abdominal pain on left side

I have had this dull ache on the left side of my stomach from around the left of my belly button and a little bit higher.  I've had it for a few days.  I feel better in the morning. I was thinking its just muscles stretching.  Looking for ideas...didn't want to call the dr on a Saturday night

I was actually having contrarians that sound similar to this. But it could be a number of things. Round ligament pain, gas, kidney infection, gallbladder or appendix. If it is contractions, more than likely they will cease after water, rest, Tylenol and a warm bath. Never hesitate to call if it gets too bad! GL.

Thanks! I'm 28 weeks now but  I never felt contractions with my daughter since she was emergency csection for other reasons.  I'm pretty sure the placenta is attached in the area where I feel uncomfortable.  I was going to get a maternity belt and see if taking the pressure off would help.  I see the high risk dr on Tuesday so I thought I could wait until then.
