how were your contractions? How often were you having them?
I'm grasping at straws. I want this kid out and I know I'm not in labor but I'm having more and more contractions last night and today. They are very infrequent though so I'm just curious what other people's experiences were.

Re: If you were in early labor for a while before giving birth...
I was having contractions for a few weeks before being induced, so not a help for a natural birth. They were not strong enough to put me into active labor, some days I had them every 3 minutes.
I started having contractions 2 days before reaching 39 weeks. He was born at 41 weeks, 2 days. I was admitted to the hospital at 41 weeks, 1 day and gave birth 28 hours later.
They were never active labor strong, but enough to be painful and very uncomfortable. At times, they were as close as 5 mins apart and that would go on for hours. I was never dehydrated. The contractions never really went away during those 2 weeks but I declined any medical interventions and stress tests showed that DS was handling it all just fine. Apparently, he was not ready to come out. LOL.
Celyn had some positions and pressure points that I tried out around 41 weeks. I think they really helped get him into a better position. Hopefully, she will chime in with advice.
I was having decent contractions for months with D. I got most of them at night after a long day of chasing L around. The only thing that was different about them when it was real labor, I just felt "off" like sick to my stomach, crying mess from hormones, and just DONE. I knew labor was coming in the next few days. I was a few days shy of 40weeks
I hope your baby girl comes soon H!! I can't wait to meet her!
I estimated that the contractions I had for the two days before he was born were 8-15 minutes apart. Uncomfortable, but not painful. It wasn't until a painful contraction woke me up that they were timeable (at about 4-5 minutes), and he was born 10 hours later.
Good luck!! Thinking of you and sending you lots of labor dust!!
