What is this?

in 3rd Trimester
I'm 35 weeks along and have periodically felt this balling up sensation in my belly accompanied by a hardening feeling. What is this?

    Thanks! I was considering putting in a call to my doctors office if it continued, because I've also felt some pressure in my vagina..I've been told by my doctor that my baby is really low, so I'm just wondering if this pressure has anything to do with me dilating..

    Not necesarily.  You might just be feeling the pressure due to her being so low. You can't "feel" when you are dilating.  At 35 weeks they won't stop labor anyway.
