Healthy Living Check In...

How was everyone's week?  Any success stories?  Not so successful stories? Feel free to share anything and as much as you would like... 

Mine was not such a great week.  I did go to 2 classes at the Y, but I was striving for at least 3 and I ate pretty terribly also.  Because of this I decided not to weigh myself.  I know it will make me more depressed, and I figured I don't need to do that to myself.  Instead I am going to try to focus on this upcoming week and hope it's better than last.

  • I think I did ok, not as well as I was hoping for... I did 2 yoga classes and 1 jog this week.  My eating has still been good, but I was hoping to exercise more.  I still don't fit in any other pants... I have a doctors appointment in a week, so I'll have no choice but to see my weight next week. FX for a little bit of loss next week!

  • Ugh, rough week. I had to travel for work so my running and eating got out of whack.  I did manage to run on Monday before I left and I walked a lot in NYC, so much that I got a blister on the bottom of my foot! I have a 5k this weekend so I hope my foot feels better.

  • So yeah, I had a pretty good week until Tuesday. I knew I was getting my pictures, so I baked. Apparently my therapy is baking. I ate 1800 calories that day... All other days have been right under 1200. I also worked out. I finished Jillian michaels ripped in 30.  If anyone wants to see before and afters, let me know and I will show you. I plan on starting this over ASAP. I'm just waiting until I O (if it's Sunday or before) to start up again.  

  • I'm doing Weight Watchers and while I tracked every day, I went over my points by the end of the week and earned less than 10 activity points, so I only did maybe 90 minutes of exercise last week when I try to do 20-30 a day.  I still lost .4 lbs at my weigh-in on Wed, so I'm refocused and took a good walk on Wed. and did a Jillian Michaels DVD yesterday.  

    I joined Pinterest two weeks ago and that has NOT been helpful for my dieting.  I never liked to cook before but now that I'm home I love it.  It makes me feel useful.  I still log the recipes in and seeing how much WW points there are in some of these dishes is helpful.  

    I'm .6 pounds away from making it to 10% lost since I joined Weight Watchers, so I'm hoping this will be my week.  I love the WW rewards and recognition for some reason.  That's my focus this week.
