A coffee pot without plastic?

Our coffee pot is on the fritz, and I need to find a new one.  It has really started to bother me that I have hot fluids filtering through plastic every day.  I know the most obvious answer would be a french press, but that is more than I feel up to most days.  Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this?

My husband has a french press and an automatic amount grinder (which can be set for 2, 4, or 6 cups).  That makes doing a French press really easy - pick the amount, it automatically grinds it, and you're all set.  Of course, you do have to heat water - but a tea kettle doesn't take TOO long   I love the flavor of a french press.  I know you said that's more effort than you want - but I can't think of anything else!  So I'm trying to tell you all the good things about a french press

We use a stove top espresso machine.

If you don't want to use a french press, what about a stainless steel percolator?

I vote percolator too.  It's slower than a drip machine but the coffee is so much better.

I bought a press this week and I love it!  It is easy and the coffee is great.  I think I'll have a cup now
