So lately I've been having leg cramps in my calves and the last couple of nights I've started to get them, but I've pulled my legs up towards me to where my knees are straight up in the air and they stopped and I could weirdly go back to sleep that way.
Has anyone else had this problem and any advice?
Re: Leg cramps/pains
Those would be charlie horses. They're very common.
Drink lots of water and up your potassium intake. That should help.
Mine have come back as of late. Best recommendation when you feel them starting on is to pull your toes back toward you/point them toward your chest. Don't point your toes away - that will actually assist with the charlie horse and make it worse. Point your toes toward your chest, wait until the pain eases, and walk around. While up, drink a glass of water. My main culprit is dehydration.
GL!
The BEST way to get rid of these charlie horses is to get up and walk around. Took me years to figure this out, but so happy that I finally found the solution. The pain will stop almost right away.
