Well - it looks like there is a very good chance that Jack could be here in 3 weeks! Via planned C ... he has not turned and shows zero interest in doing so and is getting bigger every day. I am talking to peri on Wednesday .. will discuss an external version (manual attempt to turn the baby from the outside) but truly - I don't think we're going to do it. We'd have to do it next week - at 37 weeks - and they have an OR ready to go in case baby goes into distress and has to be delivered via C right then and there. That's RARE .. but so is everything else that happens to me so I can see me being THAT patient. I'm not inclined to do it and John (DH) is adamantly against it. He thinks it sounds too potentially dangerous for the baby. So - we are leaning toward the planned C (ha ha, so much for my crunchy birth vision) and if we go that route - it will happen at 39 weeks!
I cried at my midwife appointment in talking about all of this - she was so great and took so much time with us. We were there for well over an hour just talking it out. I love my midwives. I wish I could do a crunchy birth with them - but it's not feeling like it's in the cards. But one of them will be with me during the C, how cool is that?! And will help wrestle my baby away from the nursing staff so we can put him to breast within an hour of his being born.
So that's the update! And of course he could still turn on his own .. although even midwife thinks that is very unlikely at this point. He is big, breech, and perfectly comfortable RIGHT where he is.

Re: 36 week appointment update..
Good luck....I would probably decide against the version too. Not that my opinion matters LOL.
My SIL has had 2 scheduled c/s now (both for breech babies) and she had a great experience both times. The nurses had my niece on her breastfeeding before she was even fully stitched up in the second case!
My baby turned 3 days before my scheduled c/s. They decided to induce me, but I eneded up needing a c/s anyway for other reasons.
We had decided against the ex-v also. It sounded too scary to me.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
Aw... I'm sorry he's being so stubborn.
On the bonus side though, you get to pick his birthday
