Update: RE Friend with 24 week babies

The surviving little boy is doing great so far!  She lost the other twin boy due to complications.  Ben was born Oct. 21, 2008 at 24 weeks, 740 grams (1.8 lbs).  16 weeks early!!!!.  His mother got to hold him for the first time Oct 26th.  She is doing well and little ben is coming along.  They might take him off the ventilator this week!  Please keep them in your prayers.

So precious!!! Sounds like he's a good fighter. I will keep praying for him.

Wow -- your poor friend.  I'm so sorry for her loss.  I'm glad that Ben is doing well.  I will keep them in my prayers.

oh man- so sad.  My friend lost her 23w1d old twins last week after almost a week of fighting.... Every week counts- I will be praying for him!!!!!
