is it possible..?

to not know if you're water broke? For instance, while having sex or using the bathroom or taking a shower..we are more wet now and they say sometimes your water breaking could start as a "trickle"..just curious on whether anyone else has thought of this possibility..maybe a stupid question but this is what these boards are for..

Re: is it possible..?

  • Yes, you can leak without realizing it, but if your water is broken it will keep leaking. So, if it's been a certain amount of time since you showered/had sex, whatever and you've cleaned up but keep having to change your underwear or panty liner, it's probably your water.

  • It continues... When you urinate it's a gush and then nothing... usually with your water breaking (especially if it's a "slow trickle" it continues)--it's like opening up a dam.

  • With my 2nd, it was leaking for 48 hours and I didnt know, because the Dr sent me home!  After my panites kept saying damp, I called in to my Dr and i went to be checked and the did Ultra Sound, I had lost over 50% of my fluids!  So call your Dr if this is happening, they can tell if your leaking!
