My husband, who has no musical talent whatsoever, has decided to learn how to play the clarinet. (??)  Now. When I am 9 months pregnant and at home on bed rest. Did I mention he's a seasonal employee and is off work and spends all his time at home with me now?  Oh, these next few weeks are going to be so lovely.

I played the clarinet when I was in middle school. I remember that noise fondly! Hugs to you!

Our two dogs really do not like the screeching and squeaking notes, so I get a wonderful mix of dogs barking and ear-piercing clarinet squeals.  DH is so proud of himself when he's actually able to hit a note.  All I can do is laugh at this point!

We are in the process of selling our house and DH went to the local resale shop (that had just opened) to donate some items.  The owner of the shop was so appreciative of our donations that, when she noticed DH admiring a clarinet in her shop, she gave it to him.  He's been busy polishing it up, buying reeds, getting it re-padded, etc..  It's like his pet project and tonight was the first time he could actually play it.  It's been a very loud night!  Dogs are not amused.  Hahaha

Haha! That's awesome!

I started playing my cello again a few months ago and J likes to pick it up and play a little bit sometimes. It's pretty cute, but also, sort of annoying.

Way less annoying than the clarinet, though. Ouch.
