Monitors

Hi everyone. I'm working on my registry and having a hard time narrowing down the baby monitors. The twins will be sharing a room. Does one monitor work, or do you need to have two? TIA

Re: Monitors

  • One video monitor.  Two cameras.  Most monitors only come with one camera, so you will have to register for an extra camera.

This is what we've registered for, too.

On Amazon you can get a set w two cameras, and it ends up to be about the same or a little cheaper than buying them separately.  But I feel better that they'd work together!

  • I don't have a camera, but I got just one monitor & you can hear them both clear as day.

  • We have one monitor, and it's not the video one. But I can hear a pin drop in their room so I do feel like I know what is going on in there at all times.

  • We used an audio only monitor. One. We don't use it much anymore unless we're outside doing something around the house and the boys are napping. Monitors drive my anxiety through the roof. Get whatever monitor you think will work best for you guys. A video monitor would have made me insane though.

  • When I was nannying I liked the video monitor b/c I could tell if the baby was waking up, needed me right away, or just crying in his sleep (those 1-2 cries and then back to sleep).  I figured we'd like the same for these guys.
