FU: Ski trip on Christmas

thnks to everyone who helped me see I wasn't being irrational about a ski trip on Christmas eve that would have left me stranded in a snack bar. 

i decided to talk to dh about my concerns. I am so happy to say  that he agreed that my concerns were not unfounded. he first agreed that I could stay home guilt free, then 30 seconds later said that he and dd would be staying with me.

now  to tell mil...

Isn't it nice when DH has your back!  Make sure he tells MIL so you don't become the bad guy!  And enjoy your peaceful Christmas

I am so glad he understood and is staying home with you!!! I agree that your DH should tell your MIL though. I would not want to be the bearer of that news.

I am so glad it didnt become a problem. When I told DH your story he immidiately said your DH should be staying home too, and that the family should be completly understanding. I believe he said something rather rude about your inlaws for suggesting such an unfair christmas trip too...
