    I have 8th graders and they are working on an essay.....they are really independent workers! :):) Some days (when its not an essay working day or silent reading day....I can't get on as much....), but with days like these, I have a lot of time to myself! (which is nice!! he he)

    Trust me....you don't want my job! Its not nearly as easy as it seems :):) I would do anything to be in your place! I'm just lucky b/c my kids are really behaved and we have 55 minute classes that are specifically built to give the kids time at the end of the hour to work on homework/silently read (so we get a bit of a break at the end of each hour....)

    Sorry if that came out wrong!!! I really really wouldn't want to be a teacher- I would kill the kids or they would kill me!!!! I'm jealous you have the patience! I was just saying how it's nice that you get a break. That is a nice set up for the kids!!

    Being at home is nice.... but it will probably get really hard come winter... I think Charlie is already getting bored with me!
