Pity Party for One

Please tell me I'm not the only one in the second trimester still throwing up. ?I'll be 15 weeks on Thursday and I just lost my freaking breakfast. ?I'm so tired of waking up with nausea every morning. ?I was sick with Orion too but it didn't last this long. ?I'm beginning to think I'm going to be sick this entire pregnancy.

Re: Pity Party for One

  • my friend Heather is 18 weeks and still puking. poor thing! she hasn't had any relief at all from the 1st trimester symptoms. sounds like you guys are in the same boat. we all know misery loves company, so know you're not alone :-)

i do hope you feel better soon. maybe this means "girl"?

  • I puke every time I brush my teeth...  I feel like crap and can only sleep if I take Zofran...  you're not alone...  I wasn't sick with Luca at all...

  • I was sick every.single.day up until the day I delivered Sarah.

I hope you get feeling better.

  • Thank you. ?It's nice to know I'm not alone. ?It's just discouraging when everything I read says, "Congrats! You should be feeling better!". ?I think it's harder this time already having a child. ?
  • I threw up every day until I had Addie too. maybe you'll have a girl.

do you have zofran? it worked wonders for me.

  • I had it 24-7 through 5.5 months.  After that it was still there, just not round the clock.  It got worse again toward the end.  I was miserable but was at least comforted by the fact that it is a sign of a healthy pregnancy...no consolation now, I know.

I couldn't have survived without zofran.  It didn't take the nausea away, but did allow me to keep down what I did eat/drink. Just be prepared to eat lots of fiber and drink tons of water to head off terrible constipation.  Colace works well too.

    I feel your pain.
